Nominations

Nominations are open to any work of fiction published in the United States after January 1, 20222. All genres of fiction are welcome, provided they meet the base criteria of celebrating the triumph of creativity and imagination. This extends to short stories by the same author, novels for young adults and graphic novels, in addition to the more conventional forms.

Nominations are to be made by the book’s publisher. The nomination form may be submitted online or by mail, along with a $65 reading fee and three copies of the work to be considered. Nominations open Monday, 7 April 2025. You may also print the nomination information on paper and include it with a check in the package with the books submitted.

Nominations will close at midnight, Monday 9 June 2025. If you are local to the area, you may drop them at our office, 11 W. Monument St, Suite 702, Dayton, OH 45402. Postmarks by Friday, 6 June 2025 will also suffice.

In the unlikely event that too few entries are received, you will be notified and your entry fees and materials returned.

Please mail all books to The Curious Medal, 11 W. Monument St., Suite 702, Dayton, Ohio 45402.
